Sylwia Kot – received a Master Degree in psychology in 2000 from the University of Gdansk, Poland, with majors in clinical and organizational psychology. Interested in organizational development, psychoanalysis of organization and the role of emotional intelligence in professional and personal development.

Fran Levy served for 33 years as an educator with the New York City Department of Education. Her career included service as a reading teacher, staff developer, school improvement facilitator, director of funded programs, director of curriculum and over 7 years as the principal of P.S. 22 in Queens.

Carol Patti, M.S. Clinical Nutrition, comes to the field of  leadership coaching after 17 years of coaching in her nutrition practice and 10 years in social work. She is a sought after coach who has been instrumental in helping others make the desired changes that they seek in life. She has been coaching for STAR Factor since Fall 2004. Marcia Knoll Ed.D. is a career educator who has served in all the educational seats. She has been a teacher, a principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction in the New York City Public Schools. She became Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services in the Valley Stream Central High School district on Long Island.

Courtney E. Martin has been co-developing the Star Factor coaching model, along with Drs. Janet Patti and Robin Stern, her mentors, since 2001. She has coached school counselors, teachers, math and literacy coaches, former principals, and teenagers. In addition, she has presented and co-presented on emotional intelligence in various venues, including, most recently for the health and wellness staff of Colorado College.

Judith Schroback had been an educator in the New York City Public School System for 34 years. Her most recent role was as Principal of P.S. 60 Queens from 1991 to 2004. Throughout her tenure Ms. Schroback has helped mold many future administrators by providing hands on experiences in every phase of administration. As a member of the New York City Distinguished Faculty, she worked with new principals to give them the support needed to become effective instructional leaders.

James Tobin is a consultant specializing in leadership coaching, social emotional learning, conflict management and organizational change. He has worked with school systems throughout the United States and in the Netherlands. He currently teaches at Ramapo College of New Jersey but has also taught at Hunter College and Adelphi, Hampton and New York Universities.
