Christa M. TinariPreviously a Conflict Mediator and Student Assistance Counselor at a large public high school, and Program Director and Bullying Prevention Coordinator at The Peace Center, an educational services non-profit, Christa has worked with children and adults of all ages and backgrounds.  She specializes in leading school climate initiatives, guiding administrators in the implementation of research-based prevention education, and helping teachers improve classroom management through 1:1 coaching.  

Christa founded Peace Praxis Educational Consulting and Training www.peacepraxis.com to contribute to the creation of safe, caring, and academically successful learning communities.   She is founder and director of The Peaceful Schools Institute, a 3-day program that improves school climate and decreases disciplinary referrals.  She is Adjunct Professor in the College of Education at Temple University and a Certified CRETE trainer, through which she guides university professors in how to integrate conflict resolution theory and practice into core coursework for education students.  

Christa is passionate about guiding her clients through the change process. She is continually inspired by her clients’ courage and commitment to positive growth.  Christa believes that all people can improve their job performance and derive more satisfaction out of life, through deepening their self-awareness, developing new competencies, and applying their natural strengths.
